Animation Flyers

The Week of the 29th (Halloween week) we will be using the computer lab to showcase our 1 point perspective drawing animations. Each student will have a computer displaying their 6 frame animation. The round tables in the room will display the original drawings. The event will be open to the school for the evening. If this goes well this will be a regular occurrence. Each month we will make another animation that displays a particular anime drawing technique. Once again, the animations are due on the 24th for A day students and the 25th for B day students. The requirements for the animations are: - showing knowledge of one point perspective - consistent proportions of the character that is moving - full color - a minimum of six frames. This assignment will be graded and be your first academic grade for the semester. Your final grade will be determined by the effort and quality of your projects plus your class behavior. Some of you are coming along quite nicely with this :-). If you are not working on the animation today, you will be helping to promote this event via FLYERS. What is a flyer? Wikipedia says: A flyer or flier, also called a circular, handbill or leaflet, is a form of paper advertisement intended for wide distribution and typically posted or distributed in a public place. We will take a vote as to what to CALL the event at the beginning of class. If you are making the flyer please use: Title of the event FULL COLOR (I will put color pencils in front of each student) Date + time (we will just say Halloween for now) Place: Edwards Middle School Time: 2:45 - 4:00 www.edwardsmiddleschoolmanga.blogspot.com ---> to spread awareness of the class blog. An ILLUSTRATION showing what to expect for our animations.
