When we have finished watching "Peabody and Sherman", the classic television series of a time traveling dog with his pet "boy" we have learned about a laundry list of historical figures. Some of them are familiar like William Shakespeare and Christopher Columbus; others not so much like Calamity Jane, Wellington of Waterloo or Francisco Pisaro. Look through the list. You will be required to make an animation loop illustrating the famous historical figure enacting what made him famous. 1. Benjamin Franlin 2. Pancho Villa 3. Christopher Columbus 4. Francisco Pisaro 5. William Shakespeare 6. Ferdinand Magellan 7. Ludwig Von Beethoven 8. Calamity Jane 9. Jules Vern 10. Lawrence of Arabia 11. Jim Bowie 12. Charge of the Light Brigade (? not seen yet) 13. Wellington at Waterloo 14. Florence Nightingale 15. Cleopatra Requirements: 1. Single background in perspective of the environment where the character is from in full color with either paint, colored pencil or marker. 2. The date of which Sherman and Mr. Peabody go to visit these historial figures (which is in the show) 3. A WRITTEN PRIMARY SOURCE from a BOOK about your historical figure. (books from the library will be brought down). 4. At least 5 animation frames, stapled, numbered in order, in color. Work on this project in class or at home if you need extra time. If one requirement is not met, it is an instant full letter marked down from your final grade. All letters after that are a half mark down.
