TIAN DIAN

Tian Dian is mixing types of perspective by switching between 2 dimensional side scroll perspective usually found in Chinese ink brush scroll paintings with western 1 point perspective. The result is a poetic examination of depth showing influence from various backgrounds. He has limited his color palette to red, blue and yellow. With this there is an equal balance of warm and cool values. The effect is pleasing to the eye because the entire space on the paper is considered. Looking forward to seeing the animation with this!
