I want to tell you that I am very proud of this class. You have all gained skills in drawing and hopefully have understood some storytelling skills as well. Below is some proof.

Ronnie has mastered perspective drawings and has a DEEP understanding of how to tell a story in manga by alternating time. This page is very advanced. The first panel is a very well depicted beach scene in perspective. The second is iconic clouds. And finally, a 4 panel spread of a lightning bolt descending to the land! It is atmospheric, we know exactly where the environment is - I already want to skip to page two! Great job!
Kevin Ye has perfected iconic drawing and has been doing so since the beginning. His title's FONT is also reflective of the below illustration. Very clear and easy to read, a fantastic illustration.
Danilo is using very experimental panels and gets CAMERA ANGLES. He creates envirornments but also develops characters through drawings. His facial expressions are somewhere in between figurative and iconic drawing. Very advanced. Well done.
Sebastian took the logo challenge and sucseeded. Notice how he uses a sword to make the text more in tune with its message. Great work.

Erik (as well as Deshaun, not figured here) has broken out of his "robotic" figures and is now making the figure twist and turn, thus expanding his "figurative drawing vocabulary". Great stuff here!!!

I haven't had time yet to upload everthing from my phone, but also BREAKTHROUGH work from Eric, Jin Juan, Isis and Deshaun. Alexis is continuing his face studies and I'm getting pumped on "The Last Samuari".

IMPORTANT

--- You've developed well ... now it is time to show the world your art! Here are some resource links ...

www.blogger.com ----> setting up a blog is easy. Google will walk you through it. Draw your work ... scan it at Kinkos ... get it on a CD and upload it. It's a lot of work, and a little green, but really not a lot.

HERE is a great PDF of how to SELF PUBLISH YOUR WORK IN BOOK FORM. I READ IT WHEN I WAS ABOUT YOUR AGE AND IT WAS VERY INSPIRING.
